heart A Poem by a Very Special Friend heart
Lying alone in the dark,
Unable to know or see,
Putting pain on yourself,
Just so you can breath.
Not knowing who you really are,
Wanting so much to stay,
But knowing that, deep down inside,
It will be better when you’re away.
A candle brought into your life,
Brighter then the sun,
You know it may not last that long,
But you hope it will last, never be done.
Afraid of what will come,
If that candle goes out,
Falling back to that dark place,
Where no one here’s you shout.
The candle dries all your tears,
A blessed life line for you,
Giving him your heart and soul,
And hope he loves you too.
