my name is HANNAH CORREA,and i want to live forever...you may think thats a common desire,but for me its more than a desire...its something i would die for.that is the only reason i am here,in this decaying basement,staring at the concrete walls painted like somenursery of some insane child,tracing with my eyes the brushstrokes carved like scars inside a collapsing mind.i was raised to know the darkness and see passion,see the beauty of it and let it guide me and feed me.when i was eight years old my family abruptly turned christian,i am a physical reflection of my religion...to many a perfect gothic ornament...but to others just a freak...i love blood,the way it feels on my skin,the way it sticks and dries,the way one drop will cling to other drop forming a larger drop and,of course the way it tastes...my first desire to taste blood was at age 10.my mother proudly showed me a video of her giving birth to me.one of those awful home movies where everything looks as if it was filmed in the dark during an earthquake.my father may not have been good with the camera but he did capture the most improtant aspect of my birth...there was alot of blood...my mother did bleed 4 me to say the least!and from viewing my baptism in blood,came the understanding that i was DIFFERENT from others around me.i had ascended beyond them in some way.and as i have been baptized in blood i was again baptized in water(the blood of the earth)at the time of my death.while swimming at a beach party i became tangled in seaweed and drowned..i was dead for almost 4 minutes until a heroic old beachcomber dragged me out and revived me.however,to this day i do not believe i was revived completely.i feel...that some part of me...(of my soul)...still remains...on the other side...still dead!~tis all 4 now
