Never Awaken
When I awaken its always the same,
A broken world consumed by pain,
And while this world slowly turns,
The fire of hell steadily burns.
Love is lost and has been forgotten,
Hate turns the hearts of millions rotten,
The feeling of self-assurance has died,
Honesty and truth have turned to lie.

Fear stops everyone in their tracks,
Harden betrayal stabs everyones back,
Pure souls are no longer found,
Despair has forced us all to the ground.

Our mistakes we keep on repeating,
Our sorrow stops out hearts from beating,
Hope has abandoned us now,
And its to the pain were forced to bow.

So instead of waking to this world of pain,
In a sleep I would rather remain,
I don’t want to live where I’m forsaken,
So Id rather choose not to awaken.
