Brandon Furtado Biography
I am Brandon Furtado. Musician, signed to iRecords along with my best friends: Chris Jeronimo, Karen Jauregui, Beatriz Robles, Kayla Szeto, & Julio Yanez. They are the best friends that you would have to imagine to have. We have many things in common, and the biggest one is: We all are musicians. Karen and I want to expand our music and get signed to Hollywood Records, but they have no time for new artists right now. Chris, Beatriz, and I have been in iRecords longer than the other 3. Chris, Karen, Beatriz, Kayla, and I are in California, while Julio is in Alaska.
I am still recording my debut album "Love Is Just a Word", which is said to release later this year. I have no current plans of a concert tour, but if I get some events I will let you know.
My mother, Deirdre Zinggeler is deceased. She died on October 10th, 2008 due to an aneurysm. An aneurysm is when you contain a blood clot within your brain. Amazingly enough, she lived two years after she was expected to die of kidney failure. I share her musical talents. Shortly after a year passed her death, I got signed to a record label, and vowed to keep music in my soul for as long as I live, and it's thanks to my mom. Of course I miss her, if you were in my situation you would too. I cannot stop thinking about her everyday since she died. She was a great role model, and I promised that I would never forget that.
