Here in the Barton Coast there is a legend, one that tells of a fox spirit. On nights full of stars you can hear it playing a haunting but beautiful tune on a flute. It’s said that the only thing that competes with the beauty of the song is the fox itself. It’s dark blue coat shines in the faintest light, like the very stars in the midnight sky. But be weary my child. If you ever meet this creature, your life may be in the balance. For this fox is a selfish thing that will keep his song his alone. You may be able to save yourself. But with what no one but the lucky knows. Some say a gift that is worth more then your soul will appease him while others say to trick the beast is the way. But the chosen few will not say. For they have seen why the night is feared.
