Along with Akainu and Aokiji, Kizaru is both respected and widely feared throughout the world, as his skills in battle are almost as legendary as his ruthlessness in it.
Kizaru has been serving the Marine forces and the World Government for more than twenty years. He steadily climbed his way to the top to reach the position of Admiral, a post which only seems to answer to Fleet Admiral Sengoku himself. He ate the Pika Pika no Mi, which grants him all the abilities of pure light.
Kizaru takes a jovial and slow approach to almost any situation he is put in. He is outwardly an easygoing man and most times only stopped by his own dimness. However, Kizaru is a man very much dedicated to his job, and has no qualms slaughtering any number of people who threaten peace or the Government.
