My name is Briseis Me'nasdottir. This would be my story.I had three brothers and a father, as well as a mother. Emphasis on "had". My mother died giving birth to me, and someone else killed the rest of my family. This man kept me alive, and in doing so, fell in love with me.
I didn't love him at all. But still he had us married, and not long after another man found me, and fell in love. I'm a cursed woman. He took me away from my husband... and even though I didn't love him, I absolutely hated this other man who kidnapped me. Eventually I got away from him, but I don't know whatever happened to my husband.
So I'm still married, trying to avoid my husband--the man who killed my family.
And then I fell in love, for the first time...
with a cursed man who needs to take human life in order to keep his own.
But recently, we've been separated. I can't find him.
I'm married to a man, hunted by another and in love with yet another; severed by all three.
What a life, I guess.
