Instead of thinking about yourself as being beautiful or ugly, to a point where your self-image of your body defines your sense of self-worth...just think that you are, and visualize certain traits you could change that you'd like to have and accept the other ones you can't change. You'll both feel better and be making a positive step toward making yourself more attractive (in your eyes) without neuroticizing over it. besides, you probably look a lot better than you think you do - we're all our own worst critics.
