As We Walk To The Dock
Snow Be Right In Front Of Us.
It Is Everywhere!
There Is No Escape From This Damn Cold.
Toes Chilled Already--and
Fingers On Their Way,
I Ask You, "How Was Your Day?"
We Stand On The End
Of This Cold, Snowy Piece Of Lumber.
I Am Frozen But,
Warm In My Heart
I Look At Your Face--
I See Eyes Jumping Out At Me--
Seducing Me Instantly.
I Stand For Longer--Holding You Close
I Listen Sharply,
Your Giggle Forces A Smile
I Turn To The Lake--Watching A Duck
Which Must Be Thinking..."What The ********/>
I Wonder This For A Few
Then Look Back, At You.
When You And I Are Alone
Happiness Must Be The Word--
Free And Secure.
I Remain Standing--
Spending The Moment,
When All Worries Adieu--
