Hey, I'm Camembert Cheese. I've been on Gaia since 2009. I'm an unemployed basement-dweller and spend most of my time indoors, so I have a lot of random hobbies and interests.
I really like retro stuff in general, especially stuff from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. I'm a pretty avid gamer; I play lots of retro games, my favorites are Dreamcast and Playstation, I'm also into old PC games! I like indie games that are inspired by retro games too, like Haunted PS1 stuff, random itchio games and Puppet Combo.
I'm super into anything spooky! I love horror movies, shows, games, and books. Halloween is when I'm at my strongest. Lately I've just been watching cartoons, horror movies and random TV shows, playing videogames, sometimes going down Wikipedia rabbitholes. Some of my general interests are creepypasta, occultism, old internet, arcades, fashion, aliens, gothic culture, cryptozoology, the paranormal, stuffed animals, vampires, children's media, vaporwave, abandonware, mascot horror games, marine life, dinosaurs and just hanging out.
I used the same account from 2009-2021, then made this current account to start over fresh without all my middle school posts hanging around. I use the forums sometimes to post silly stuff but I mostly like to lurk around, sell stuff and customize my avatar.
I'll probably comment on your profile if it's really cute or if I like your avatar. I love retro profiles, old web inspired stuff and goth. It's cool to message me or send a friend request if you wanna.
I have a hard time with social things since I have autism. I'm sorry if I make you uncomfortable or say something weird, I don't want to upset anyone.
