"I have studied you, and found nothing but weakness."December 19th, 2006; death of William Cervante. The Venom, sank unto the abyss of the sea, where William had spent his life, and where it met it's tragic end. Although amidst his countless journeys, one had marked him eternally, beyond death. A curse had been set upon the captain's family. William Cervante was a merciless pirate, feared across the seas, as he wrecked havoc wherever the sea brought him; he was a cold-blooded tyrant, although he was a gentleman all the way to his grave. It was difficult to earn his respect, but when you had attained it, you had gained an extremely beneficial ally.
The curse was set by a mage, and although William had slaughtered the old fool, 'good riddance' was said too soon. Slowly, each year, at December 19th precisely, a member of William's family would perish. The wizard said that he had brought this upon himself, he had doomed the captain with guilt, for the remainder of his days. When he was the only remaining Cervante, his time had come to repent from his sins, with his own death. Embracing an eternal and peaceful rest, William Cervante was buried beneath the ground, where all of his siblings lay as well with these words embedded in his toombstone: "I have studied you, and found nothing but weakness.". Only, when exactly one year had passed, within his coffin, beneath the earth, his eyes shot open; he gasped for air. His deliverance was temporary, and now, Captain Cervante had returned as an undead pirate, he yearned for blood; the world would feel his wrath.
