it's awesome that your family does that. i wish we did that kind of thing in my home. i have a really great Bible study group that meets during the school year, but it's out for the summer. it's sad. i'm actually trying to get through the whole Bible cover to cover this summer.
i'm really lucky; my church is actually pretty much in tune with my political beliefs. they're fairly liberal (support gay rights, environmental efforts, etc) which is kind of uncommon in my area.
i'm sorry to hear that. it's definitely tough to stay true to God and Christ, and do right by them, but it's worth it. it's a struggle for sure, especially in this day and age (wow, i sound like an old lady), but He'll give you the strength you need.

what you mean. People do
stupid stuff, trying to show
off and find themselves, yet
I don't need all that stuff.

you converted as a family? that's cool. so do you go to temple or church?
i went through that 'doing stupid stuff' phase when i was 15/16/early17. i made a lot of horrible mistakes, and there are things i still regret. in a way though, i almost feel like i needed to go through that in order to be where i am now. my faith is so much stronger than it's ever been, and i don't know if that would have been possible if i hadn't gone through some of the (self-inflicted) trials that i dealt with.
