Hendrix 1993, DSM-IV 1994, and Keck and McElroy 1993; Kupfer and others 1992 shows that Bipolar is a genetic condition with physical causes that manifests in a way that effects the psychology of the subject.
"Mood" disorders as they are known as, have physical causes and are treated with medicine that allays the physical cause.
