Things to know about me (for your protection)

Well mostly anything you need to know about me is found all over my page here, but lemme see what else there is to say...
Well firstly you'll want to keep in mind that I'm mentally unstable, though you don't have to worry about my head exploding, I'll live, really =]
I can be either simple or complicated, or both at the same time, I like people who are the same, you can see my hobbies and interests in the tags section but to briefly explain myself:



-Music, part of life as much as food and breathing fresh air, without it I'd probably die, you can see my favourite type of stuff in the Favourite Music/Bands section




-(Electric) Guitar, updated! For a while now I've got a sexy (brand-new) B.C. Rich Warlock axe! (Bronze series, completely black) It plays great and sounds even better =] Also I've finally started taking guitar lessons - from my older cousin, he's a great teacher (and also a great acoustic/electric guitar player, drummer AND singer) and I'm making (according to him and others) vast progress myself too, couldn't be more proud ^^



-Drawing, though I like it a lot, I'm crap at it and still have to practice more, my inspiration here is much greater than it is with eg. writing fiction but if you can't do much more than draw stickmen it's a dead end, yes? (wish this was my work)



-Writing, updated as well! Yes recently I've written a little bit on my planned fantasy novel and I should keep it up now things are starting to look better for me, also I'm considering writing other stories as well. - Just so you know, if and when my first novel comes out, you'll be SURE to recognize it if you, eg. read the back.



-Games, well yes I'm still a gamer, and have been for quite a while. I'm open to all kinds of stuff, from platformers to racing games or action, as well as strategy games or things like Gaia. My computer is clogged with First Person Shooter (FPS, not to be mistaken with Frames Per Second, though also applicable there) games such as Counter-Strike (Condition Zero) and Command & Conquer: Renegade, but I'm a true Warcraft fan and play a lot on consoles. I own a 'Cube and my brother recently got a PS3, my fave games are things like Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime, Guitar Hero, Jak 3, Resistance: Fall of Man, and tons more. I STOPPED PLAYING WORLD OF WARCRAFT AGAIN A WHILE AGO (and re-installed) a bunch of other/older games, which are great fun too! Though I play less online now.




-Horror, I'm definitely not very resistant to "heavy" gore and plainly wrong things in some films, but I like watching them nonetheless. One of my absolute favourites, also listed in my Movies section (and the first one that always springs to mind) is Sleepy Hollow, which is about the story of the Headless Horseman, featuring Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci and Christopher Walken (nice combo there), but besides movies, you'll have noticed me mentioning Resident Evil above, I believe games are a great way to transfer scaryness onto players/viewers because they get to immerse themselves more directly in the creepy worlds of horror, in the case of Eternal Darkness and Resident Evil that's done beautifully, and I love that stuff. - FOR THE RECORD - I've recently seen a pathetic 2 horror movies and neither of them very good. The Forest is quite possibly the worst film I've ever seen and Eight Legged Freaks can hardly be called horror, it's "icky" with lotsa spiders, sure, but it's more of a comedy than a horror once you get over the little shivers of seeing 'em critters crawl around everywhere.




-Darkness(?), it appeals to me and interests me because it's greatly mysterious in many ways but still so simple, yet undefinable and raw. Everyone has heard tens of stories, seen hundreds of films, and must have played a thousand games involving something dark, usually common things like evil overlords, mysterious creatures from other dimensions, things from hell and more insidious yet less worldly entities, I love how this essence keeps everything in balance and I also love thinking about all the possibilities that it creates, it's a great thing for authors and artists too ofcourse, and I hope to impress a lot of people with my personal interpretation of darkness in my aforementioned fantasy novel.



That was a not-so-quick sum-up of my interests and hobbies, and I'll be adding more later. Hmmmm...considering using some custom sections for this stuff now xD
