my name is Kaeira, my passions are poetry, video games, and many other things. Recently, my father was diagnosed with malignant cancer of the liver. he has been given three months to live. here's a poem that i wrote that made me feel better:Life goes on through and through
we all know this to be true
our lives with loved ones may be brief
our hearts and minds so full of grief
we are sustained by one belief
from memories we find relief
hold such memories close to heart
they in turn will play their part
think of times good or bad
think of all the times you had
think of them and don't be sad
that poem is a bit depressing, but it helped me overcome the grief. when i write my emotions flow and dance across the page. i put my heart and soul into my poetry. whenever i am lost in a see of emotions, my poetry is my guiding light.
