the mystry at highmedow ranch
CHAPTER 1
i was walking with my boots kicking the ground. we lived on a ranch with 2 cows 5 chickens and a dog. but the thing that bothered me was we had no horses. i loved horses since i was 3 and it has been 10 years. i stood on a broken fence starring and a empty field. the grass was turning green again. i walked and grabbed a bucket to milk the cows. " Lisa are you out there" yelled my mother. " yes mom im milking the cows" " okay wanted to make sure you didn't go to the action down the road" she yelled back. i sat down by my favorite cow her name was Nissy. she gave us the most milk the past few years. when i was done i went inside and pored the milk in a glass. i put it on the table and grabbed some cereal and ate. i looked at the headlines HORSE ON THE LOSE RUNNING AROUND HIGHMEDOW VALLY. that was on my ranch. i got up and ran. i grabbed a old rope and ran outside. i saw a big black shadow in the distance.
