Here in the states you need exposure. Lots of it. And unfortunately he didn't really pursue the kind that would get him in the spotlight. He was a presidential candidate who made it to the debate stage. He could have called into or dropped by any radio or television station and they would have put him on the air. Just like they did for trump in 2016. Those are just facts. Presidential candidates are a huge deal here. Especially if you made it to the top 8-10. Which he did. And even as a grassroots he could have solicited every local station and built a following. He chose internet. And while going people are on social media, they aren't reliable at the polls. Unfortunately here in America young ppl talk a big game but they don't show up when it counts. It's still the older generation that show up. I loved Yang. I think he's amazing. And he gets where the world is headed. His a rich guy who understands the future and could have brought America out of the dark ages and turned us into leaders again.

There's so many guides on here! It crazy the amount of work that people put into them! There's leg guides even lol. Dedicated gaians for sure.

I'm going to look into this disco ball thing! I think it could be fun for parties! Like a 80's party.

I think he started to gain momentum at the end. But ya he needed to get on every television show and radio too. That's what older ppl watch and do. And because he was a presidential candidate he could have gotten lots more air time. He could have just called the morning shows and they would have talked to him on air. And he could have dropped by too. That's what trump did. He flooded every news, late night and morning show. Yang's team wasn't really doing a great job I feel like. They weren't getting him out there and relied too much on the internet. Which is fine for some things. But you need all age groups to win. Mostly because younger kids here in the US talk a lot of s**t but not many actually get off their lazy butts and go out and vote. We really need a system that we can vote online. It's truly long overdue. And they're freaking out about mail in voting ffs?! Imagine if we went to online voting?! So many more ppl would vote. Including college kids and young ppl.

Ok so here's a LINK to the naked avi guide lol. Yes there's items that make you bare chested! And here's another GUIDE that had alot of information on cutters lol. I buy the cheap recolors that include the cutter. So for my top I had to put a bra type top on and use a cutter to remove it to get that bare look lmaoo 😂. So now instead of trying to find glitches in poses and items gaia just came out with cutters for certain layers of the art. Smart huh? I mean that's more items you have to buy to customize your avi lol.

Now where do you get a disco ball? Omg I wouldn't know where to look!

Yes he should have done more television and radio and town halls and a bunch of stuff. He's not all that well known here.

My avi. It's so plain right now. Remember when gaia only had new things once a month? And when marionette came out?! I was so in love with that item! But it was so expensive! Like 1 million gold lol. Ahhh old gaia. Now they have things all the time. And you can't keep up because rigs have so many things in them. It's nuts. I just read in the forums. The guides and the CSU update on the general discussion. Then I add things to my wish list to keep track of things lol. And since I like certain styles or colors I look those up. Like amaranth. I look at the tags for items I like and go down the rabbit hole. Sometimes an hour or two will go by and I'm like oh s**t I need to take the dogs out! Or something I'm forgetting to do.

Lots you can do with avis now. All the layering and cutters.... Remember that green glow thingy you'd get on a certain pose if you layered too much? I never see that anymore lol. Gaia wants you to buy more things that layer and glitch items. Like I'm wearing a cutter that removes the top and makes you bare chested lol. Gaia really does have the best dress up avatar system.

Well I think Yang really appealed to the young. But he wasn't aggressive enough to gain in popularity. And he needed to really explain to the older people about the UBI aand his other plans.

Yes it is concerning. It's scary af! And like their going to push thru a supreme court justice in a few days just to get it in before the election. It's nuts. And just what Russia wants right now. For Americans to be scared and divided.

Karaoke at home? Lol hmmm now that's worth a thought!

I truly believe Yang would be awesome. His whole platform was fresh and relevant. Made sense.

I don't think there's many older gaia ppl left. But they have to be getting money somewhere? I mean it does cost a lot of money to run this place.


I've wanted to go to Australia for so long. You're really lucky to live there. So beautiful. Here in the states it sucks. College is expensive. Healthcare is expensive. And trump has put this country in the toilet. Theyre going to push thru a new supreme court justice before election day. So it will be like a dictatorship here before too long. Like the middle class is just being wiped out completely. The rich are safe from this covid. And other things. Its the working class that are suffering.

Upside, I like to go karaoke too! I have to get drunk first lol. But it's fun! I miss fun 😭

Most of us aren't happy with it either. The electoral college is antiquated and archaic. But the republicans here fight hard to keep it. And it's in the constitution. From like 200 yrs ago lol.

I totally agree with you about Yang. I just hope he stays active and involved.

Catch is definitely a gold sink lol. And I just sell my old stuff that I don't want any more. That's really how I've always done it. Things go up and down in price so sell high buy low, just like in real life lol.

They're definitely going to have to do something. I threw some money at them a couple of times when I come back. I never was able to before cause broke student lol. But I don't give them hundreds of dollars, just like $20 a couple of times. But only like 2k people on here is pretty small and not enough to keep a site this big going. Down size and streamline. And like I said the exchange is great for users because they don't have to spend rl money, but it's bad for gaia bc they don't have to spend rl money.

Yang is awesome! I think more people needed to know about him. And our voting system is by electoral college. To hard to explain but you can Google it. I wish it was actually counted by the people's vote and not how each state collectively votes. And now RBG died yesterday so this is getting crazy. Seriously crazy.

There is art for sale on LP. I think you just post it in your about me section. And eh gaia. RIP old gaia. But if you do decide to make a shop I'll come hang with you. I'm not on often but I'll definitely be there when I'm on.

Idt it will ever be the same. Hardly anyone from then comes on. There's really nothing for anyone to do who's older. I just like to play in my closet lol. I'm not much in the forums. I'm a bit too shy for that. And I usually say the wrong thing. Sooooo I just stay quiet lol
