Standard military issue for defeating demons from hell. Along with the angel wings and boots, and other odds and ends. I don't know what sort of alchemy they put in them, but they seemed to work well enough. ((You missed the event! The Advocate gear was useful for defeating the boss monsters.))
The colonel's eyes narrowed slightly. "Just put them away, Fullmetal. The cabinet organization hasn't changed since you left." He bent to his own work for a moment, scribbling on a couple of documents before giving up again and getting up to go look out the window, procrastinator that he was. "I thought so. No progress, then?"
Al got tired? That's a new one. That metal body of his never tired, and Alphonse was more patient, too. Roy was pretty sure that Ed wasn't telling him everything — but then, it wasn't like he told the kid everything either. "Same position, different papers," he conceded. His right hand twitched slightly, as if he were tempted to just incinerate them all and be done with it. "If you're going to be here, I'm putting you to work." He pointed at the smaller stack of papers on the far side of his desk, and then at the filing cabinet. "While you're at it, fill me in on what you've been up to lately."
