About
FACT: I'm not very active on Gaia anymore. ):
Call me Chami. Chami means fried noodles in Chinese. I speak Fujianese, a dialect that not many people know of. Others refer to it as Minanhua. I'm practically illiterate in Mandarin, but I know it to some extent. I dropped Chinese school by grade four. XDD
From that, I have a feeling it's pretty evident that I'm an Asian girl. How typical on Gaia, eh? CX And while I adore using little text faces, I haate emoticons. I'm literate though. When roleplaying, I'm literate to advanced literate only, please. I do love roleplaying, but I usually go for those in the Gaian Neighbourhood.
Regardless of that fact, I love anime and manga of all sorts. Scratch that, I like underdiscussed anime only. In particular, I'm a Haruhiist (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, for those who can't speak otaku). I'm also partial to Ouran High School Host Club, Clannad ( After Story), Lucky Star, and K-ON! That's the really, really abridged list.
Music wise, I love foreign kinds, like C-pop, J-pop, and K-pop. But I also like American pop and rock, you know. ;D
People always go on and on about pocky and ramen. You know why? Because it's awesome. Even more so is bubble tea. Maan, my favourite kinds are honeydew and double berry. C: And yes, large pearls only please. ;D As for cheese, I won't eat it if it's cold, strong and in huge chunks. For example, I hate cheddar cheese cubes. While I love Asian food, I'm also seriously deprived of Western food. I find it a treat.
I'm a nerd, did you know that? I love practically every subject in school. So yes, I go to school. I read in my spare time, at least one book a day. I'm also very involved extra-curricular wise. In school, I'm in student government, the reading club thingy, the yearbook committee, two different choirs, a band, the school newspaper, the art club, and helping out at the library. Out of school, I take ballet, piano and swimming. I also have many hobbies. I like knitting, scrapbooking and cooking for example.
I also fill the nerd stereotype, what with glasses, braces and a scrawny figure. I'm really short for my age. =| While I like busying myself, I'm also pretty lazy, and I procrastinate.
I do aspire to go somewhere and become very, very successful. Successful doing what you ask? I'm not sure. But if I get into UTS, I'll eventually end up in the Ivies, since everyone who goes there does. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Brown... you know what I mean.
I'm a writer, for one thing. Various poems and stories have been produced over the years. I'm creating a couple novels at the moment. I'm sure in a few years I'll look back on them and find oodles of mistakes though.
I'm also an artist, did you know that? I've created various websites throughout my life, none very serious though. I draw often, and I enjoy designing things with the great Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS4 suite. I know how to CG, and I'm still working on a couple projects. I whip up banners and the like pretty quickly. =] I know how to make web layouts, however I've never attempted to make a Gaiaonline layout. I will eventually, I hope. And make a mini-shop one day with my friend as well.
And yes, I do have a DeviantArt, Livejournal, Facebook, Neopets (lol), MSN, e-mail, Maplestory (hiatus-ing), Youtube, Crunchyroll (CR sucks), Freewebs, Chapters (I update my book list every month), Photobucket, AnimeOST (I don't use it), and RateMyDrawings (hardly use it) account.
I've got dreams, you know? I'm always looking further, and trying to reach further than ever before.
