Cleo Payne was just another Gaia Police Officer, and a young woman without any magical powers, unlike most. But one day, she became caught up in a plot created by a twisted, evil group called "The Vanguard." Demons, every one of them cloaked in the form of average-looking humans. She found herself unable to help the victims of their attack, and when the law wouldn't take legal action against the Vanguard, Cleo quit the force and took up a pair of magically altered, Western-style revolvers. In addition, a local friend in Durem supplied her with breastplate and shoulder armor that could (hopefully) help her fight the Vanguard, and indeed, other demons. Of course, not -all- demons are evil, but those who mean harm and go without justice must be stopped in her opinion. With her twin sixshooters and powerful shapeshifting arm armor, Cleo Payne will do just that... She may be an outlaw, but she's also a demon hunter.
