A couple of times! I don't mind really if you can see the lining, but sometimes the cut of it doesn't let the lining peek out at all. DX Which is a shame. Details like that are really important to me.

We were being pretty obnoxious about it. "This is so ugly! Who would ever buy this piece of s**t? *flip* ... *speechless*" XD But it's a good lesson. Always flip fabrics.

I think I will. I can always put off tabi until I know I can actually make them. What's funny is the lining material I have I got at a liquidation sale at a fabric store. The side you're supposed to keep visible was this HIDEOUS silver all over. But the underside was this amazing teal color. And it has a Chinese dragon pattern too. XD I bought the whole rest of the bolt for like a third of what it was worth.

If you ever have a pair of jeans that you're going to throw away, you should try out techniques on them. I always try to work things out first that way instead.
I was thinking of having a silk lining inside fleece, but I was toying with the idea of a reversible. Maybe with a matching drawstring purse, legwarmers, or tabi-styled socks. But I'd need a pattern for tabi, or a pair I could actually dissect in order to make those.
