How about you get to know me?

Wow, I haven't been active on here since my early 20s. Revisiting the profile I had made all the way back in high school and had hardly changed was a bit like opening a time capsule. Seeing the lingo of the time period that I used to use, the type of music I listened to, the artwork people drew for me (although, a lot of it was deleted from its source and just showed up as a blank space). It's all so surreal now.
I changed a lot as a person over the past decade. I discovered my true identity as a non-binary person. I joined the Japanese fashion community. I became a published author. I got engaged, then went through a breakup with him after a rocky few years, then got engaged again to the person I should have been with all along! xd And I couldn't be happier.
My mom passed away a few years ago. I came to terms with my own time on this Earth and what it all means--what I want to leave behind when I eventually meet my end. Above all, I want to be remembered. It was nice to remember my younger self for a little while. I hope this site will continue to exist for years to come so I can look back at this version of myself too.
Don't let that bring you down because there's a ton about me that hasn't changed! I still love video games and anime. I still write when I have time to (work gets in the way a lot uuuugh sweatdrop ). I still believe in fairies and magic and whimsy. I still love watching funny streamers on Youtube, and I'm thankful that some of the ones I watched a decade ago are still streaming and creating laughs to this day. I'm still going to conventions and connecting with people over my nerdy interests, only now I'm usually in the artist alley with my partner. If you see me, say hi. I'll probably have purple hair! 4laugh
I'm still an aspiring magical girl too. Any day now, some talking animal mascot character will appear before me and give me a transformation item. I'm manifesting it! whee In all seriousness, I try to live my life in a way that the magical heroines I look up to would approve of. There are good days and bad days, of course. But all those days add up to make me who I am. Anyway, it was interesting revisiting my past self on here. I may or may not become a regular user again. Who knows? Only time will tell.
