yeah i know what you mean. i spent a couple years in charge of a mental health nonprofit before leaving to serve on the board of a service provider and to return to college. so many people have warmed up to the aca, and explaining to our clients and volunteers that certain things they have now are at risk of being denied to them on the sole basis of discrimination isn't exactly something I enjoy doing. sweatdrop
you seem to be a very compassionate and empathetic person! but i think your profile said you struggle with a few things as well? do you have any methods of self care?

learning from working with people is great! i just think it's important to also understand its theory and history, you know?
oh yeah, block grants. they're doing the same with education. i swear the republican party's been in an identity crisis ever since reagan was the last decent gop president post-watergate. id laugh about it if it weren't looking so bleak

that's a lot of stuff though! it's great that you're as active as you are.
any recommendations on feminist literature? i've spent a lot of time working for organisations made up primarily of feminists, but i'm ashamed that i've not read much other than the fliers that my friends and i disperse around town as a side project
also, do you mean you're not a supporter of meals on wheels anymore?
