Thoughts are impulses, reactions to your surroundings, which are in turn manipulable by you, your thoughts, etc. Really there is no free will and there is because, along with the rest of the universe [for lack of a better word], all of your thoughts and impulses are stimulated by your surroundings. That's where they come from, always. If you remember something it's because you're either forced to, something around you reminds you of it, or something you were already reminded of brings you back to that memory. There's no "original thought," there is only influence. People have to realize that their lives are nothing special, they're simply chemical reactions; extremely complicated cooperating bits of matter, responding to the enviroment like a leaf to the wind, only in a much more complicated way because of a much more complicated structure that realizes on its own correct syncronization to function. When the singularity of the univserse reached it's densest state before igniting and dividing once more to create the universe we know today--which, of course, will spiral back down to a singularity like a penny in the big yellow "save the blind children" gimmicky thingy at Wal-Mart--everything that followed was, of course, just a part of the reaction. Think of everything as the tiny little blotches on a huge piece of paper when you throw a bucket of paint at it. Life is the more complicated blotches, you could say; where the drops run over each other. Still, we're insignificant, and we're still flying through the air because technically there will be no paper to hit, only a return to the bucket. Our "life" is just complicated [though it is just a relative term in the drama of "reality"] chemical mechanics. When we die, our atoms will be drawn to and radiated to other bundles of atoms and become a part of something else, like a rock or a tree or a bird when it absorbs our nutrients from the rats that ate us, and this one great, pointless reaction of the infinite contraction and expansion of the universe will go on. Since we can only percieve it with sensation, existence is still only theoretical, and in that way, it's all a dream.Of course, this could also be nothing more than a scientific view on life. Science is depressing, and amazing all the same. What should people care though, let whatever there is to happen, happen. Die and go to heaven? Awesome. Die and become integrated back into the earth as decomposed energy? That's great as well. For now everyone should enjoy their life and not dwell on the past, as nothing is undoable once done is done.
