Well, amusement parks (at least the ones near me now) are just so expensive. Not to mention it's so nasty out (really hot and humid). I might go to Sea World on Sunday though. My parents have been talking about going.
Not really any vacation trips yet. I just came back to visit my parents for a few weeks before the semester starts up again.
Well I completely oppose the notion of "right for me" and "right for you". I lean more towards what's called the Uniquness Thesis in epistemology, which is that there is only one maximally rational response towards a given body of evidence., so maybe that's why I find the Equal Weight View so plausible. I find it almost obviously true (the Equal Weight View that is) but that self-defeating problem...damn...that's quite a problem lol. well not a problem for the actual truth of the matter, but my ability to take it as true. (I'm probably sounding confusing, sorry )
Ahh, so you could do fine all through the class and then bomb the test and don't get any credit?
Well, it's supposed to be a measurement of reading comprehension/reasoning...but it's really just a vocabulary test full of words that your avg person has never heard before. And the writing is well, what I would regard as bullshit essay questions that don't have any substance to them. I used to be good at bullshitting lol, but now I'm not. I need something with substance.
Regent tests?
Oh, when I say it's scored higher is because philosophy majors score the highest out of all other majors on the verbal and writing section. So a top score within philosophy majors is well, the top of the top. So it's a pain in the a**.
