Pretty flower on the ground, A burst of music with no sound, This sliver blade sharp and clean, A single symbol still unseen. It doesn't matter when or where. All that matters: We were there.
I am not exhausted anymore, and so will discuss your ship example with you.
When you say anchors, are you referring to God's promises and Spirit?
If so, then you are suggesting that my current beliefs are merely just there to hold me together
And really don't help me move forward or grow at all, correct?
I personally believe that I am moving, despite all the storms and tides (referencing the world, correct?).
Reason being is that there is growth. I'm not just stagnant, trying to hold onto my beliefs.
My beliefs "evolve" and grow. I am being made more and more in the image of Christ.
And as I learn and as I think, I grow. I do not see these beliefs as anchors. Rather, I see them as the sails
That carry me (the vessel). If anything, the strong, blowing winds merely move me faster in the direction God wishes for me.
And these sails are of strong material, not easily breaking or bowing to the storms and the tides.
Thank you for commenting. I really, really appreciate it.
No, the ship example was not too philosophical or abstract.
I've thought about Buddhism in my reflections and I have a great respect for it.
On the contrary, I detest Wicca.
Not Wiccans. Wicca.
If I wasn't exhausted after being gone all day, I might have more to say. But I think this message will suffice.
Thank you, again, for leaving a comment regarding one of my entries...
I deeply appreciate them.
Thank you for leaving a comment in my journal.
It shows that you continue to have a great depth of understanding.
It is a certain kind of understanding that people lose sight of.
Maybe they never had it to begin with.
It made me smile.
I would agree. If not for the sake of the immortal soul for the sake of one's own life,
Belief, faith, is better than no faith at all.
Thanks, JC. Your comment really meant a lot to me.
I hope others who may see it will find great meaning from it too.

I've tried to get into contact with you but rarely ever succeed.
I hope you're doing well.
Let me know how you're doing. smile
I see your point.
Thank you for clarifying, and for devoting some time out of your day to speak with me.

Indeed, I think I shall play better next time around.
