Q: Why did you join the GaiaOnline community?
A: It was through a friend’s request. She needed people to join her RP and got me to join after a long period of badgering. Something worth mentioning is that I had no RP experience whatsoever at the time.

Q: Describe your roleplaying experience at this point in time.
A: I see it as so very little compared to most RPers on Gaia. I could cheat and count my RP seniority in terms of time, but the actual number of threads I participated in is unimpressive.

  • "Bleeding Skies 2" was my friend’s RP – the first one that I joined. It ran steadily for a while before dieing out in a failed attempt to continue on a fresh thread.

  • "Crimson Law", a creation of my own, came second while "Bleeding Skies 2" was still running strong.

  • "A Soul’s Decision" came third as a joint creation. It was completely separate from Crimson Law in terms of members and storyline, and ran strong as Bleeding Skies 2 waned.

  • Fourth came a short period of unfruitful searching. With two RPs running steadily, I tried out guild RPs that rapidly died out a few pages in and tournament RPs that I ended up neglecting starting the day after joining. I don’t consider this as improving my skill, but rather as an experience of things that can go wrong.

  • "Street Rule #1: Half upfront" was created by an RP acquaintance. It was a fresh topic for me to try out. It seems to now have stalled, probably due to a low player count and busier times for the RP creator.

  • "Pandora Ascent" is my latest creation, and is still running steadily today. It is a reorganized sequel of "Crimson Law", combining players from both the original thread and from "A Soul’s Decision".


Q: You seem to be very interested in roleplaying. What accounts for that?
A: It’s a very liberating activity. A blank space where to let one’s imagination loose. My participation in the total Gaia experience dropped drastically in the last year as busier times took over, and weren’t it for my dedication to my RP, I’d probably have abandoned it completely. The fun of RPing has had that much of an effect on me.
