Glad to be of service (and hope I can answer). Unfortunately, I have not been playing zOMG as of late (there have been some bug fixes and updates), however I do recall that you can just flat out drop down the join request offer by pressing no, then to get out of a team, there should be this "window" that says the names of the party, I think there's a button there that says to get out of the group. This another method in which you can choose, close the browser zomg is playing on (it automatically takes you of the team (your avi does tend to stay on the same spot you left).
