Cold dead fingers clawing, tearing dragging from the past
Tainted, lingering caresses soon finding their way back into weakened soul
In the empty nights seeking abandoned flesh
would they not offer comfort...where none has been found
Drawn into the darkness moving back and away take the first step never to be again

A weakness hidden behind strengths masque with empty tears
strangled into silence desires slowly abandoned one by one
as each dream in its' turn begins to fade
To trade the living for mere existance a ghostly becoming
by fading shadow and of whispers lost in the night
Hidden is weakness within masques of strength
tears....silence....abandond...

Growing sick and tired of fighting these battles,
peace and harmony retired, decadence of this damn mind,
to push the walls back I push through the spikes.
Destiny should bleed out a river of stability. Will is alive and buried,
lost in late afternoon, its that serial killer fog
enveloping with features found inside us all,
it won't let me find the graveyard. Breaking down and falling,
losing my humanity as the seconds fly beside, peice by peice the hunger of hate,
preying behind my heart lost in late afternoon,
rips me away undendingly. The sunrise never comes, only a cheap imitation,
change is survival's secret, how foreign life has become,
the nemesis, the fog, undying, if only I could spare myself.
Growing bitter and hollow from an invisible war.
