My name is Melanie. Mel to some, Melly to some, and Melanie to others. I've always tried to surround myself with responsible people, it just never worked lol. I've gone down some rough roads in my past, and done things I shouldn't have. Things like drugs, alcohol, excessive partying, and other shyte. I'm past that now. I've moved on. I might not be perfect, but I'm living my life in as comfortable a manor as I can. I still try to have some fun sometimes though, and am always on my God given right of the pursuit to happiness. I have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl, her name is Kaiah. She is my sun, my earth, my angel from God, my shining star, and my gift of life. Her dad has recently decided that this isn't the life for him but I will not take away his right to see her. Unless, that is, if he continues down this bad path with alcohol and drugs. That is not the kind of example I want set for my little girl.I love learning about the interests of those around me. Especially those of whom I care for. Currently, I'm learning about anime and fashion. On my own I am trying to learn as much as I can about all the cultures and religions, my current topic is Middle Eastern cultures and peoples, there are so many different cultures there, and it's so amazing
I'm interested in discussing politics and religion; I would like to hear the view points of others, and the info they have to back it up. Who knows, maybe they can change my mind. I am very open, and as long as you listen to me, and respect my views as I do yours (without being rude because you disagree) then I am happy to talk about either with you. But, we may have to simply agree to disagree at times.
I am currently exploring religion. I was not brought up with any belief structure. Lacking the moral influence of "the church", or any other religion, I found myself moral-less and selfless in my teenage years. I wish my daughter to have decent morals. If she wishes to stop, then I will explore all religions with her until she has found what she what she believes, even if she doesn't believe; just as long as she respects herself, and has some sort or morality to guide her.
I'm in school, currently at 4C's. My technical major is "human services" but, that doesn't mean I am going to be a social worker. My current plan is to be a therapist specializing in addiction, treating anyone affected by the drug world in any way. I also plan to get my CNA and work as a nurse assistant through college, and I will ALWAYS do photography, modeling, graphic arts, and film on the side. I have been thinking of changing my major to graphic arts and photo, I've also been thinking of taking some theater and acting classes. Through high school I thought I knew what I wanted to be, for some reason I am at a very indecisive point a little late. There is just so much out there...

>I try to exercise though ever since Jake left it's been difficult to find the time. I went to Planet Fitness, but had to cancel my membership because of the expense. Now, I go down the road to the high school and work out playing tennis, running, walking, and doing other exercises there.
<I used to be really nice, too nice and people took advantage of that. Then I changed and became the opposite; Never letting anyone walk all over me again, I was a bit too mean. Now, I'm finding the perfect balance. And, figuring out the best way for me to communicate with others. This needs to happen before I am to be in any other real relationship.

<I've recently decided to look into the interests of those around me. Anime (my #1)? Magic Cards? making music? and anything else I observe.
>At this point I think if I am to enter a new, actual, relationship I would want a girl. But, I like what I'm doing right now, and I'm happy going down this path.
