He is the Dark Pontiff of Hell, Prince of Pain, leader of the Order of the Gash, and Lord of the Church of Sorrows. Behold Pinhead. An ancient soul who takes host within those damned by the Lament Configuration.
Who knows how many Suits of Flesh he has donned, or how many souls have fallen to his sharp hooks.
Pinhead, the Dark Minister in the Order of the Gash . Once human, this unholy fiend is now a Cenobite - a Hellish explorer in the outer reals of experience - a damned soul who demanded to taste the forbidden fruits of ultimate ecstacy and unrelenting pain!
His is eternal agony. His is unclean existence in Hell forever. His is dark power, so awesome, that he himself knows not its full potential. His is foul flesh, sharp steel, stagnant blood and continous suffering. He is Damnation personified. [/source]
