Hello my name is Ash. I never thought in a million years that I would want to belong to a site set up for young adults, yet since my brother, Winter caught the fever given to him by my Aunt Melanicat and personal friend, Piratekittypearl, I have found myself drawn closer into this world that has been created by some genuis of a man. Daily I have begun to pester my younger brother to hurry up and let me play some of the games that are on the site, let me read the comments on the site, let me meet the women on this site, yet everytime he offered to help me set up an account, I would back away saying no, it's a young adult site, I'm 28, be 29 in January, there is no one on there that would want to talk to me because I'm too old. Well now my brother has gone and signed me up anyway today for his bithday. He made me sit down with him this morning and promise all of his friends that I would keep in touch with them while he has surgery. So I said I would and dammit, I am.

I've also realised that I wouldn't mind having someone to talk to when my world gets a little too crazy for me and I feel like I need to bail, but I can't. You see Winter is a great kid brother and I love him. He's had a rough go at things lately and hasn't been in the best of health, but I've seen several changes in him since he joined Gaia and I thought if it's helping him be happy, then maybe I should really give it a shot. Bottom line, I know that I am not signing up for Winter, but for me. I'd like to meet some people who just want to talk about various things that happen in their lives. I would like to just have some friends that aren't worried about how they look, where they eat, what they wear and how ******** wonderful their children, who I at one time taught, really are. If they only knew the truth. I will not give my last name out nor will I give the name of the middle school I taught at so recently before I took leave to come to my aunt's house to help take care of my brother who is getting over a serious car wreck.

For once the older brother is taking the younger brother's advice and hoping that I'll make some friends that dont have anything to do with the things I left behind. I want to just talk to people, not tell them what's wrong with their kid. I want to be able to say a bad word and not worry about my boss finding out or worse, a parent. So I declare my Gaia page open for business. If you want to be my friend great, if you want to debate anything in the world, go for it. I just ask that you be willing to hear my side of things and not to get offended by me as I will try not to ger offended by you. I would like three subjects to sort of stay out of my profile comments:Sex, Religion and Politics. I'm sick of hearing about all three and I truly do not care what you do in this area of your life. I live my life accepting the theory that everyone has the right to make their own choices in life rather if they are legal or not, you have the right to sleep with which ever sex turns you on, go to the church that you want and vote for whatever idiot is running for office that amuses you the most. Don't ask for my opinion on these three topics and we'll get along fine.

Well I've written quite a bit for a brief hello and I haven't really given you anything back about myself. I'll work on that. Just know that I am single, I will be 29 in January. I live with my aunt and brother and her family, I believe in good educations and honesty will get you further down the road then dropping out of school and becoming a criminal. I don't know, look at the facts. I am very open minded about a lot of hot bed debates which somehow always involves the three taboo subjects with me, Sex, Church, and Politics. Lets just say for the sake of arguement, if your free, white and 21, let her rip. Do not peg me as a racist, it's just a saying. As far as I'm concerned it includes everyone that is any colour, race, creed, whatever. If it's legal in your state and you aren't hurting anyone then have lots of fun, just use protection. Get out and vote if you are old enough. I'm not ever going to say who you should vote for, that's your problem. I will not tell you who I am voting for because it's none of your business and fall under the subjects I will not discuss with people other then family. I think you get what I'm trying to say. Your smart, you'll get it eventually.

I also just want everyone who comes to my page to be happy and say hello. I will respond to PM's, comments, and friend request as quickly as I can. Again I don't worry too much about that since I don't know how often I'll be able to be on Gaia, but for Winter's friends, while he is in the hospital, I will write you all and let you know how he's doing. All right. I'm done with this part of the profile. So those of you staying up all night, go to bed. I'm done, nothing more to see.

Hey there, Ash

I'm glad to hear that Winter is doing well there (even if he doesn't want to be there.) It's a good thing that he has a good doctor like that, too. I know that the kind of doctor you have can sure make a difference. ; o I think that it was so nice that Pearl was snuck in to see him last night. ; D That is so cool, and I'm glad that nobody was caught. We brought my grandma's dog in to see her once, and they made us show them all her papers. Oh well, I'm so glad that he got to see her, though. ; ] I know that it cheered him up.
Well, it took me awhile to get on Gaia today. D ; I had to stay after (not anything bad!) and then left to my friends house so she could help me with some math. Math is my absolutw worst subject---it's pathetic. D ;
