And I'm sorry but I gotta nick pick dubbing. When you bring a culture that doesn't exactly follow English literature... you get what the English literature pronounces it as. Japan has no th sound so something like Areth is really Areis... but when you bring it to America for exaple... vola. And it's not American literature... it's old english of Europe which American culture is based on. So naturally one cannot complain about a procedure, except when it comes down to the explicit content (cursing, nudity, and gore) which must fit English standards, I don't like it and I feel I'm old enough to handle all of it just fine but it's a law we have. I guess you can say it's like arguing currency between the dollar with any other, hey if you want to deal in American if you're from Japan, you gotta have a transaction. >.>

Well as for the the Scar video, bummed that you can't see it. It was nicely conducted I thought. It uses the song Prayer Of the Refugee by Rise Against. So if you heard the song, you may get the idea. ^_^

Actually... a bolt of lightning is capable of reaching temperatures to that of the surface of the sun. The reason why you don't fry is because it's an electrical current, not a flame. Your skin acts as a protective suit. In fact, the bolt doesn't hit you... it goes through you. That's why true mother nature's fury is so awesome. We have a source of power like that created by a simple discharge during certain conditions of a rain storm that manage to produce a product so powerful. Plasma rocks.

I still don't get how someone can favor a country they don't belong to but then again I'm just a stubborn American who likes to be different. I pretty much grunt in reply if anybody flips out over little dubs. Lets be honest though FMA was better dubbed than subbed and I know cause I've seen FMA in both nothing was cut except for Envy's little word "p***k"

But yeah Ryu is from Street Fighter, a Mortal Kombat-like series of fighting games before Virtual On and such... pretty old stuff. So yeah the beams he shot was the Hadouken, turns out Neji does have a variation of it Eight Trigim Palms something or rather but its range to the target varies as too far dissipates the blast. I don't know if you've seen Tenjou Tenge but the same attack is like Mitsuomi and Masataka's hand palm plants that blast chi through their opinion. Ryu was the first to do a technique like this in all of anime/gaming to the degree they defined it from and though Mitsuomi and Masataka's own attacks referanced that. So without rambling on Nanashi has his own hadouken which at a starting age, at Genin of 16, is much like a more powerful ranged version of Rasengan. More concentrated and the properties aren't implemented in the same manner but never the less produce a powerful knock back. When Nanashi learns his chakra element lightning, he puts in the element into the attack to make it more like a kamaha mayha from DBZ, a wave of plas-ma! -says it dramatically- cause lightning is awesome, hot as the surface of the son ya'know...

And yeah I miss those days, everytime I RPed him I tried for the most part to fit the character I saw him as and for the most part you and many others congratulated me on a job well done with that. I remember when Maes first introduced me to Shadow and I ran around as Scar she was like, "O-M-F-G... I just about wet myself I was terrified, that seemed so real!" xD good times.

by the way this is Ryu from Street Fighter, the better illustrated version anyways. He's the guy in white... obviously. My fanfic character Nanashi kind of grows some what into that wears a GI at Jounin status with other modified pieces.
