Hello, there. Oddly enough, my name seems to be going around on this website alot, but I'd like to introduce myself just to be sure.

I am Yagami Raito, though Light tends to be the more popular spelling of my first name.

Up until recently, I was on a top secret case with some of the highest of investigative intelligences. However, I was recently inflicted with a very large memory gap; I can remember most of what occured and why I was on the group, but I have no idea why I and one of the members of this so-named intelligence group were somehow... trying to outsmart eachother.

Around the case of my amnesia, the word 'Deathnote' has popped up alot, and I've been subjected to living circumstances which most would call akward.

For example, I live in an apartment with two of the countries most respected genius's; one, to keep an eye on me and how much I remember, and the other to keep one in line.

Mello, and Near.

Of course, Mello had to be half dragged into it, and it is believed it is only the temptation of shooting me and/or outwitting Near that keeps him there.

Near... ... ... ?


He says he has claimed conclusive evidence on the case I was working on, and once I regain my memory, I can confirm it.

For the most bizzarely unknown reason, I don't feel easy about that.

Not uneasy, no, not that!

But not calm, either.

Well, I must go. I have to pick up chocolate on the way home from the Advanced Criminology University classes I teach, or Mello will try to kill me again.
