About Me

I am Delequen. I don't know if I'm your favorite person, but I'd love to take a shot at that title. My interests are somewhat diverse. I'm a fan of classic rock, to new/nu metal. I'm also a fan of gothic rock, dark rock, symphony rock/metal, trance, techno, horrorcore, and music that can make you trip while sober. I love reading, my favorite author being Kim Harrison. I've read books 1-7 of The Hallows series, and am next looking to read her upcoming anthology, along with her past works. I love books in the fantasy/fiction genre. I don't like comic books, but graphic novels I don't mind (and I don't find that contradictory). I love reference material in the new age or occult genre. I've loved to study those areas for years now, finding out all I can, discovering more through personal experiences, and reading whatever is available to me.

I adore the night, objects and ideals with a darker aspect, vampires (hate twilight), werewolves, angels and demons, fea's, other mythical creatures of the such. I'm big on the fantasy aspect. I wear mostly black. Plain black t-shirts or tank tops (since some people find the word wife-beater offensive). And dark gray-blue pants. This is my usual day to day outfit. Of course I have the obligatory leather trench coat, the black fedora, and boots. I wear an ankh around my neck, and am a fan of Egyptian and Celtic jewelry (rings and necklaces and such).

I'm single, straight, and looking (lol, like that's any use on gaia). 5' 7" and 170 lbs with a goal weight of 160 (doesn't seem like much of a difference, but trust me it is). I'm a part time photographer. I work for a studio on the weekends. I'm enrolled in college, part time for now. I spend about 12 hours a week working on a series of books I'm writing with a friend of mine. It's a work in progress, and only certain details are able to be given (if you want to know, don't hesitate to ask). It's my goal in life to open up a night club, with a secondary career of novelist. I'm doing everything I can to pursue those goals, and love every step I take. I have many good close friends whom I love, and my family that I also love. I've written all I can think of.
