Alright, so my name is Audie! You can call me Demy if you’re more comfortable with that. I don’t mind either way. Formerly known as Demyki and Demynxis.

Random facts about me:
● I'm a terrible liar. Probably why I'm so bluntly honest, haha!
● I love cats. I adopted a beautiful black cat on February 24th.
● I’m love monochrome. The avatars I make on Gaia almost always have black and white in them. For this preference, I use Mercury Moon often.
● The Gaia items I use the most: Lucky the Cat, Milk the Cat, Lovely Lucie (the lashes), Mercury Moon, White Body Dye, and Horns of the Demon. I also commonly use based on the color scheme: Kanoko items (Kanoko’s Dark Reflection, Kanoko’s Nightmares, Kanoko’s Illusions, SDPlus Kanoko Doll, SDPlus Majoko Mariko), Zodiacal, and Compass of Seidh.
● My favorite food is sushi with lots of raw fish! If I could, I would eat raw fish for the rest of my life. My favorite kind of sushi is the one with tuna, salmon, a bit of cucumber, and avocado wrapped in rice and seaweed, dipped in soy sauce with lots of Sriracha sauce.
● My favorite chips are the purple Takis bag, Fuego. My favorite dessert is strawberries with Nutella. My favorite drink is Thai Tea with pearls (Boba). My favorite morning drink is warm and sweetened soymilk. My favorite evening drink is Arizona Ice Tea, many kinds.
● I have a hard time going to sleep without noise. I usually have my laptop on, playing some random movie or episode of something. Recently it’s been Family Guy or Friends.
● I have no tolerance for cold. I will pretty much stay indoors for weeks on end without going out during the winter. Heat, on the other hand, I could handle very well.
● I don’t use instant messengers other than Skype. You could send me a message, but be aware that I’m often busy. My Skype name is Demynxis.
● I love watching Pixar and Studio Ghibli films.
● I have a weird obsession with typing with proper grammar and spelling. But note, like anyone, I do make a lot of mistakes. Haha. I just think that proper typing makes the text look prettier.

I float around everywhere. I love randomly popping up in conversations. I could tell you some places I visit a lot on Gaia though.
● Exchange:
I’m not much of an exchanger, but like everyone, I like good deals when I’m buying something to use. I go here to sell the more expensive or hard to sell things I have. I don’t like coming here much anymore though.
● Mini Shops:
This use to be like my home. I’ve had so many mini shops. From my first shop where I would draw avatar art and scan it for 4k to my current tip shop where I sell trinkets for 25g. I love going through other shops too and chatting a bit. It’s nice to see the changes in the art community fo Gaia.
● Lotto/Money Games:
Gosh, this is a long story. This is probably the forum I’m most active in now. I’ve had a lot of history with betting. I started out February 2012. I was winning a lot which made me cocky. When I was up 55mil total, I lost it all and 30mil more on March 19th, totaling a 85mil loss. That’s when I quit. Changed my email to an abandoned email, asked my friend to change my password which he lost in a computer reformat. I wasn’t planning on coming back but in the beginning of November 2012 (after getting a new laptop), I was looking for the password of an abandoned account I had for some nameless site (might’ve been Facebook or something, I forgot) and went through some abandoned emails. One of those emails just happened to be tied to my account. I changed my password, signed back into Gaia, and here I am! After some small 500k bets, a lot of 10mil bets, and a 50mil bet, I finally broke even from that 85mil loss. I hate scammers. I've been scammed a total of 52mil, the most at once was being scammed 20mil from byLoitre. No one likes to lose and I wish people would understand you are put at the same risk. It ruins some of the fun of betting. It’s not all about the money though. Heck, if it was, I’d have 30mil extra from the additional giftbacks I’ve given because of how fun a bet was. Betting has become a way of bonding and I’m glad to have found this place because I wouldn’t have met half the people who’ve become precious friends now.
● Profile Discussion:
I visit here every now and then. It’s a really dead forum, but an amazingly good resource. This is where I talked to people and learned how to code profiles. I couldn’t have done it without the regulars of that forum. I will always love this place.

Could you make me a profile?
Sorry, but probably not. Making a profile takes me a long time. They're not premade templates, so it takes time to develop an idea. I'm like any college student, so I value my time. A profile could take up to a week for me to design, draw, and code. The only way to get a profile from me would probably be through auctions which I do maybe once every 2 years. My last profile auction was autobought by Inkxy with Lucky the Cat (Approximately 35mil at the time). If you're seriously desperate for one... and crazy rich on Gaia, haha, I'll consider them for offers I can't refuse like SDPlus #346 Thea the Unicorn Spirit. Thank you for showing your interest though, it means a lot to me that my work stands out. ♥
What program do you use for your art/profiles?
Photoshop. For both drawing and animating. There are tons of tutorials on Google if you want to learn. If you don't own Photoshop, there is a really great simple, free, online version of it that I have in my resources to the right. For profile designing, I use Photoshop and occasionally Illustrator for graphics. I code them myself with no programs, just right in the Theme Override box, and ideally use trial and error to get it how I'd like.
How do you code your profiles?
There are so many aspects of coding. The resources I use to code my profiles are on the right if you'd like to take a look. They are labeled by the function they provide. All of the guides are amazing. If you've already started on a profile and have any specific questions, keep in mind that I won't teach you, I am more than happy to help you.
How do you make your gold? Have you spent real life money?
I make most of my gold from drawing, exchanging, or, recently, betting. I had my shop Enri for a long time. I haven't spent a penny of real life money on this game from the years I've been on. My best suggestion for you is to exchange because it's a sure fire way to make gold. You want to stick with the motto buy low and sell high. However, this does not mean you buy an item for 400k from the marketplace and try to sell it for 500k. It doesn't work like that. But you can go through the exchange, find someone selling a 400k for 300k, buy it, and then sell it in the marketplace for 100k profit (Minus tax of course). If you need more tips, shoot me a profile comment and I'd be glad to give you suggestions! As for betting, from my experience, you need a plan and a good amount of gold to bet. You need to make sure you are completely willing to lose the gold you bet. I know people who have won hundreds of millions and people who have lost hundreds of millions.

I donate occasionally, mostly to friends. If you ask me to, I won't. If I'm in the mood and I happen to stubble upon your quest thread, sure.
Can I donate to you?
Donations are always appreciated, but never necessary! As anyone, I do have items I still want and goals that are difficult for me to accomplish. But, please think about yourself first and foremost! I will only accept gifts and donations from people I know have it to spare or really really want to. For the people who don't have it to spare, please, I want you to save up for your own goals. I would much rather see you accomplish an item you've been questing for forever than donate it to me. I have an income, I make a good wage, I make my steady living. Thank you though for considering me. If are still itching to donate, there are some amazing charities in the Charity/Quest forum, as well as elaborate and creative quest threads. ♥
