About
Discovered several decades ago by enterprising archaeologists, the Deoridhe is a rare breed that is usually found within its den or the den of its peers consuming a variety of edible substances and watching, or otherwise interacting with, electronic boxes that glow. The Deoridhe is omnivorous and prone to defrosting or purchasing it's sustenance. Members of this species have been known to gather a wide variety of pleasingly colored objects around it and seem to enjoy melodic noises and running water. In recent years, researchers have noticed a marked increase in the variety of things which the Deoridhe keeps as pets, including: Betta splendens, Felis catus, and Homo sapiens. The Deoridhe has also been observed caring for a variety of plant growth adjacent to its den. This increase in association with other species may explain the increased time spent by the Deoridhe preparing sustenance and managing its den. The Deoridhe has also been observed moving in concordance with or while watching images on the glowing boxes, but this behavior so far has defied researcher comprehension.
FAQ of sorts:
How did you become a Moderator?
The simplest answer is that I was asked to be one and accepted, and since then I've worked hard enough to learn and keep my position. I really enjoy being a Moderator, when people aren't flaming me and making hate threads.
sweatdrop I like being able to keep forums clean, and being able to encourage people to be more polite to each other and discuss the topics, not each other. I suppose I have a strong sense of Justice, in a way.
Why do you have a wishlist?
Most moderators do, since we're also users. Moderators have to earn their gold as much as anyone else, so I use my wishlist to keep track of the more expensive things I would like and my pipe dreams, like the Halo. Plus, I have close friends who love me and so want to be able to give me things. I always try to keep a number of low-cost items on my wishlist so they have an idea of what I want and don't have already if they decide they want to give me something. Obviously, I don't expect them to buy me things, but I like to make it easy if they decide to.
How did you stop being a Moderator?
I became very busy, and so was unable to keep up with the demands on being a Moderator. This may change in the future, at which point I'll petition to return, but right now I am rather enjoying being a private citizen for a while.
Do you really think people read this?
Not really, no, but deleting things is a lot less fun then just adding on.
