Personality: Dereck really has no personality. He doesn't care for much at all, with the exception of his family. He does have a hidden confidence in himself. He usually tries to do whats right.

Shinobi weapons: Kunai, A roll of very thin wire witch is made from a special type of crystal that grows in a certain range of mountains. He has an abundant amount of the crystal, but the wire can be used many times over. He often wraps it around his wrist after pulling it from the metal spool carried around his waist, and is drawn out through his left glove. Wrapped up in bandages on his right hand, are four blades that contract and cut through the cloth when the muscle in his forearm contracts. He also carries a solitary summoning scroll witch is tucked in between the wrapping on his hand.

Biography: Dereck unlike his father Kiba does not use dogs in his jutsus, or any combat. Since he was a little boy he had a love for cats. This made Dereck a complete oddball in his family. Kiba presented hiromaru to Dereck a year before Dereck enrolled into the academy. Dereck passed with flying colors because he and his cat were such a good team together. They had went through vigorous training together during the whole year and it was at a young age Dereck was called to take part in the Chuunin exams. His father waited proudly for him on the day of the starting, but Dereck never showed up. The hidden mist village had sent in spys to contain any shinobi with special abilities. They knew there was no chance of capturing Kiba so they took his son. The mist couldn't get a hold on Hiromaru, the cat already had ran to Kiba. It took the leaf village years to find Dereck. By the time they had found him, Hiromaru had grown to be humongous in size. Kiba had gotten older, as well as his son. Dereck was nineteen years old and he was in co-operation with the enemy mist. Kiba kidnapped his son back to take him to his homeland. Dereck was told everything about how he was kidnapped. He was in disbelief until he met up with his childhood friend Hiromaru. Now he is back in Konoahgakure, wondering who was lying to him.
