I lived in Santa Rosa then between Sacramento and Stockton then edc.

And yes definitely its so annoying. I think its because all the water just sits on the roads and just eats up the pavement?? Some of those country roads down there are even worse. Shouldn't build in the middle of flood plains/deltas lol. Rice straw is the best for growing mushroomssss. Congrats on the interview!! Are there benefits?? Climb that warehouse ladder!! 🥳

My friend has a terminal illness so we're not going to be doing much just chilling and eating. They moved from Placerville a year and a half ago. Really shitty situation but I miss them and want to see them before.....plus it'll be close to our bdays so we might do a little party where we get something from a bakery.

I was born in Santa Rosa so I know what its like to watch dairies and like beautiful grazing land get swallowed by houses and grapes. The original clover stornetta dairy building by sonoma/Napa turn-off on 12 is all rubble and torn down now. Grapes everywhere. Super depressing. People need to stop reproducing so we can stop destroying the world...we have no shortage of tweakers and trailer parks here in edc. I dont drive to/through sac often. But they're always ******** messing with 50/80/99 and all the interchanges. Ill probably have to start going more often with work and trainings in Davis.

Dude I watched this thing the other day about how wild and empty BC is. Like less than a million people?? (Don't quote me lol) for the whole territory. I watch this commercial mushroom picker who goes across bc picking mushrooms almost year round....would be a perfect place to buy a few hundred acres and set up an off grid complex.

It's disgusting. Everything south of 50 at Bidwell on 50 is acres and acres of box cookie cutter houses. I think they've done 10k already...30k more. And then el dorado hills is the same exact way. D I s g u s t I n g.

Theyre putting like 30k houses between El Dorado hills and folsom....the urban sprawl is disgusting. Starting to look like the bay area. I hope our county gets more of a spine like amador so they keep the population out. I would probably end up with my house turning into a bypass or they'll expand the highway. Ugh. Humans.
I transplanted here in hs so I don't know many old families (but I do know their family tea lol)

Yeah amador county is more strict than us i think. That bypass reallllllyyyy helped the highway tho. I cant imagine going on the old road. I get sooo carsick just driving down 49 as it is now 🤢

Yikes I can hear the skreaking and grinding 😱 i had no spring left on so many occasions hauling beams we milled. I live in the mountains and I would blow through so much gas just going 15 miles round trip way overloaded going up and down twiry steep roads. That cop would have for sure pulled you over here even if it was to say HELL YAH. They like to come watch and chat if I'm milling close to a road lol.
Luckily! They didn't have to keep them upright just keep them from flying out the back over a bump (it was funny the first of 4 or 5 trips they tried sitting on them and it was ridiculous the skinny old ladies and the slabs almost went together and I was only going like 5mph)

Oooohhh my God sounds....hot roll the windows down next time!!! I have a 99 silverado that I use for my milling sidequests and snow driving. We shoved 5 people in the front bench seat and 2 in the bed to move some slabs from one side of a property to another lol. But it was a nice warm 55 degrees and sunny 🤣 the people in the bed were tasked with keeping 10 foot slabs in the 6.5 foot bed up a bumpy a** mud gravel road

Lol sounds like my friends 68 Ford tractor...but we were using it with no safety gear...ON HILLS!
