Shingen doesn't die, he's just VERY sick and he passes out, Yuki just assumes he dies. You'll find out he's not dead if you keep playing through Yuki's paths.

Well congrats. I procrastinated when it came to playing with Kuroda. Just keep unlocking all the characters, you should have 16 of them in the end.
I'm on to unlocking all the weapons for the characters now, as I'm going through the game.
