The tunnel of life lay before me in the beginning.The first five steps I take I hear the laughter of childhood from the walls that are bathed with white light.
I feel the warm valley breeze of a hot summer day.
I smell cool lake water splashing about.
The next five steps an overwhelming burst of power overflows into my soul.
The voices of knowledge seep from the now dimly lit walls.
I hear the shifting of books and the rustling of pages.
Questions laid out and answers picked up.
Then a further five steps I feel the shadows surround me, The dark voices of evil men & women fall from the blacken walls.
The feeling of fear and uncertainty draw from the floor then up my leg and tug at my heart.
I run and fall another five steps.
I pick myself up and look back toward the entrance, the sound of jets and planes flying passed causes me to look away from the past. I hear the clanking of tools on parts and orders being given.
I decide to take another five plus one, but I cannot see which way to go, the walls give no light.
Out from the death blacken walls two blue flames one on each side emanate toward me, I reach out for one.
Before its in my grasp both flames jolt into my spirit.
The walls glow to a white light.
Now I take my five, i feel the hate flow through my heart, the thoughts of betrayal, and sadness seem to pierce my soul.
I must take the next three steps.
