I did have the original Gold Legond of Zelda game back in the day but I'm not sure if it was rare or not.

I loved it too. The first one I owned was the NES, then I got the Gameboy and the Sega Game Gear, then the Genisis and Super NES, then the N64and Sega Saturn.

Yes they were the best in my opinion as well. Glad to know there's someone else here on gaia that grew up with the best game consoles. What are your thoughts on the Sega Genisis?

I've beaten them many times. Loved both games. I miss my N64 though. Wish I still had it. Luckily one of my friends has one and I can always just borrow it.
