I used to think I was bloody awful at art too but that's simply because I was restricted in my ways. So naturally I assumed I was crap. I was only allowed to paint people and animals not abstracts or the likes, always ******** the people up. But I like my abstracts.

Good, good. Drugs are bad, Mmkay? But poopy, in three years I'll probably have finished school. Won't have this super sweet free Public Transport card. What's wrong with Andrew meeting me? Afraid we won't get along? Tell meeeee!

I'm not saying that it's the way you're supposed to. Only that it's the way people usually do. There's nothing wrong with that. But you shouldn't abide the conventional as being the rule. That's when creativity gets blocked out and everyone starts to criticising something for looking out of the ordinary.

They're a different world to me and I have less sympathy for them than animals. Not that I have a low sympathy for animals, not at all. I think they're better than us infact. I hate it that alot of them are suppressed and taken from their natural habitat either as pets or because we needed the habitat to create our own. But I digress.

I do hope it's not for the reason alot of people seem to go to The Netherlands.. especially our neighbouring countries. With that I mean weed. Also, wouldn't it be easier if I went to where you guys reside instead of the other way around? Especially if I still am in College I could use my public transport card to ride for free during the weekdays. Also get to take up to 3 persons with me with 40% discount all week long. So at the very least it would be best for me to first come to you guys.

The 3 Ms from 3M stand for Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing. So that's not the last M being Minnesota.

Well the conventional way would be to attach brackets to them and screws in the wall or one screw with wire to the brackets.

Although I can understand your point of view I rather not meet someone with a worse life than mine sweatdrop I don't want another friend to worry about..

I said you shouldn't anyway. >.< Good luck though with raising money to get to your love.

I now feel stupid because I could have figured that out with all the talk about 3M being in Minnesota.. Never checked prices for there so I wouldn't know.

Why suddenly the talk about Minnesota and Colorado. O.o I am confused.. I'm not from Colorado and even then 3M supplies the whole frikkin' world with their wide variety of safety, health, office and industrial products.. however taping a canvas painting to a wall is hard because it's not flat and even then that would be ugly, I myself prefer to not have a few thousand posters on my wall. If I'd ever plaster a wall with something I would probably prefer to plaster it with pictures I made or friends made.

Everyone can have something to annoyed at and when people say they should be glad with what they have to endure in comparison to me makes me feel bad about my situation. =.=;
I've tried to just ignore them but they get all huffy puffy about it.

Well there actually would be a way to help.. that would be donating money to get me/her a plane ticket. No, don't even think about it.

(Conveniently) just so you know a trip to The Netherlands would be between 800-600 dollars depending on whether you're on the east or west coast. I forgot, I'm sorry.

I am a bit scared of how they'll react, particularly my father.
I plan on telling my mother first, gauging her reaction, and asking her what father would think.
Nonetheless, I do think I'll tell them both.

Well, there you have it.
Two of them had a muted reaction, if perhaps on the surface. The one that had the most vocal reaction in turn came out to me.
I'm still working on getting up the courage to tell my parents/brother.
