Stellar Loussier (along with her pals Auel Neider and Sting Oakley) make up the Phantom Pain, an Earth Alliance special forces team. Their original job was to sneak into ZAFT territory and steal the newest models of Gundam, as well as destroying any ZAFT forces along the way. Stellar ends up as the pilot of the Gaia Gundam.

Her life changes when she meets Shinn Asuka, pilot of the Impulse and on the ZAFT forces. He saved her life before she drowned in the ocean, and together they spent a night waiting for rescue as they sat in a cove. Neither side knew that they were suppose to be enemies, and after that night, the two seemed to have fallen in love.

However, when Shinn rescues Stellar a second time, he discovers that Stellar is an Extended and can't live without the therapy and drugs that Neo (Phantom Pain's leader) has been giving her so she can survive. If Stellar stays, she will be used as a human experiment by ZAFT and most certainly die. His only hope was to send Stellar back to the Earth Alliance because they are the only people who know how to save her. He asks Neo to please keep Stellar away from dangerous things such as gundams and wars and Neo agrees.

Unfortunately, Neo has no intention of keeping that promise. Stellar is an Extended and her purpose is to fight. He gives Stellar a new gundam, the Destroy and she begins to annihilate everything, thinking she is protecting Neo and herself from dying. Shinn is most shocked to witness Stellar on this rampage and tries to reason with her, however, in the end, she is killed by Kira Yamato in the Freedom.
