I've been alright in its very core essence. Busy and tired at times but alright is a nice medium.
I kind of just "lurk" around on this site, lurk meaning going to MyGaia and logging off every couple of days.

I've heard so little about that subject besides a brief paragraph acknowledging it here or there.
Seems to be doing it an injustice, I'll have to check out that book as well.
I think the last book I read that was themed in Asia was Shibumi, and that was ages ago.
Albeit, it was a really good book, I'd say the only part I had trouble getting through was the caving expedition.
As accurate and well-thought out as it was... it was slow ahah. sweatdrop

As for other subculture, I always wanted to learn Go as well, the mathematical strategy in that game is ridiculous. Only problem is that it's really hard to find anyone interested in playing Go in California (it's hard enough to find someone who plays Chess). But yeah, I feel kind of guilty giving all this conversation piece to the Japanese considering it originally started with the Great Move Forward. gonk
I'll research up on things, the guilt of being ignorant is encroaching upon my soul and being.

I thought I was paranoid the first time I read The Sun Also Rises and found the writing style to be a tad bit barren.
For Halloween I think I'm probably just going to chill out at home; might dress up as a slick duster zombie hunter and go out to celebrate the spooky holiday, I'll see what happens.

But hey, your words inspired me, I'll make an effort to read more, wouldn't want to be an uneducated individual.
I'll probably finish Les Miserable, I only got 100 or so pages into it. o .o;
