Long before recorded history, long before this universe was created, perhaps, an attempt was made to bring the Objects together. A madman whose name is unimportant, having gathered Them, began the ritual to destroy the universe. He failed. It is not known how or why, but the man was, for whatever reason, unable to unmake creation. But this attempt was not without its consequences. The power, destruction, and pure energy generated by the Objects in their brief Reunion engendered... something. Something horrific. It is known only as Edo Edi Essum- The Devourer.
