Of Horses, Ladies, and Unicorns

As you can probably tell, I absolutely adore The Last Unicorn. Read the book, the coda story, seen the film, and have a copy of all of the above. I'm also eagerly awaiting the publishing of the sequel to the book and its coda. Being a diehard fan since the tender age of three or younger, I was horrified to find out how publishers and movie producers are treating him. I love unicorns, and the story really got me into art, storytelling, and fantasy. For those who want to read up on the problem, help the author, and generally do what they can to help the author whose amazing book became a beautiful full-length anime very true to the book, there are a couple links below.

How you can help

As you will note below, I have set up a breedable pet shop with a fellow Gaian, kitsune_reflection. The lineart is mine, with a few modifications.
Godar Dragons

My ship, for those visitors of a piratical nature, is the Hippocampus, the most beautiful ship to roam freely on Gaia's seas. She's not meant for pillaging, but adventuring, crossing worlds, and the like. She's named for the Greek mythical animal, the hippocampus, which is half horse half fish.

IRL, I'm learning fencing and do Scottish country dancing in one of the larger branches in the world. I currently own three swords: a display quality version of Anduril, a French grip dry fencing epee, and a Hanwei Renaissance rapier, and the three are my darlings, along with my ghillies, my dance shoes. xd

Thank you for the plush, and the welcome! <3 I feel the need to mention I'm not new though, I just lurk and change my username a lot more than I probably should. (Not that the welcome is not appreciated, I just felt it'd be dishonest not to mention it.)

I think that all sounds very thorough and planned out. Trust me, I understand being bogged down with classes and life (I may be going back to school soon myself)

*hugs* You've been doing a great job at trying to keep Aerithe alive. Rping, chatting in the thread, etc. I think we're all pretty disappointed right now at Lily.

True love is the sweetest ideal between two people and how they feel about each other. When witnessed, it’s a beautiful affair filled with so much love, acceptance, and deep joy that it seems to almost epitomize goodness. But to those who feel it, it’s a fierce, terrible joy, love, and desire that seems all consuming. One who feels this gives their whole heart to the one they love without a second thought. To love someone this deeply is to stand with them through fire, flood, famine, pestilence, war, death, heartbreak, fear, anger, sorrow, pain, and every other hardship conceivable by man. It’s to love someone so much that you feel like some part of your defenses have shattered, leaving you raw, shy, and so filled with a wonderment that you don’t care at that moment that you’re helpless should you ever come under attack. Your mind may scream that you shouldn’t do this or shouldn’t love so deeply, but there’s a part of you listening to your heart and its song of love, joy, and desire. You realize in that instant that even though you may have utterly detested this person, you’ve quite probably loved them as long as you’ve known them. Every time you curse his or her name, it’s also a benediction coming from the deepest, most secret part of your heart. You know that you love so much that it hurts and that it will cause you pain every day, but you also live to see, serve, and aid the one you love again and again. The pain and the love are a part of each other and they come to fill the person up, and this is particularly true and beautiful when it’s reciprocated. To love a person truly, one must be prepared to give one’s heart to the person one loves and never expect anything in return, though you may eternally hope for some sign that your love is returned in kind.
