My Afterlife...
My name is Elyse de Pointe du Lac, such as Louis de Pointe du Lac; no relation. (I liked the name so I took it! whoop-dee-friggin-doo!) I was resurrected at the age of 16 by Eden van Pierce. I had only known him for the couple of seconds I'd awaken anew. I never sought him out. I didn't see a reason to. If I did meet him, should I demand to know why I was changed or thank him? Why should I care? Being a vampire isn't "bad", forgive me for lack of a better word. I admit, the idea of immortality is a bit much to handle. On the other hand, I get to live throughout the rest of the ages. Is feeding off people inhumane, as well? What's picking off a few men now and then going to do? People'll soon get back to their short insignificant lives as if nothing ever happened. Besides, we're overpopulated. Like rats.Yet in my days, loneliness has grasped me in a death grip. But should I find someone I can attach myself to...well...you know...
Care to join me?
