Hello! My name is Alicia, I am about 20 years old (will be as of August 28th). I am literate, somewhat cynical, basically liberal, and I'm most commonly described as being difficult to get along with.
I play guitar, bass, and piano. I like to draw occasionally, and I write even less often than that. I'm kind of a nerd.
I don't like modern pop culture, but I also do not like hipsters. Having an interest in something because it's mainstream/not mainstream is stupid. Like what you like and move on with your life!
That being said, I like all kinds of things. My musical tastes, for example, vary from groups like An Horse and Silversun Pickups to Prince, and heck- I actually really like Samael as well. So yeah, I'm pretty eclectic.
I absolutely love Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, they are amazing and I love both of their humour styles, though I'd have to say I'm more-so a fan of Colbert.
I don't really watch much TV, but when I do, I watch Criminal Minds re-runs (not the one with the new people) and good old Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Movies: I like all of the Rush Hour movies, all of the Die Hard movies, Purple Rain and Under the Cherry Moon (Graffiti Bridge- not so much), Up, as well as most action/adventure and comedy movies. But I hate romance movies, as well as gory ones that are gory for the sake of being gory.
Art: I like Rococo art. I despise modern art. "Oh look at this modern art! All these years of taking art in school and this is what I can do! I call it: "ABSTRACT MEANINGLESS DONKEY KONG THAT IS RUINING SOCIETY."~ Look at it! It's so edgy and quirky, therefore it must be cool! If you look hard enough, you'll be staring into your own a*****e. It's so intense!"

My issues. Like they matter.
If you're one of those "blame the victim" types, or someone whom likes to pick apart people for their issues, then don't come and bother reading a damn thing that I put in her.
