Ergates pronounced 'erga-tees' is a place in Greece, a beetle of some sort, and also a character (an ant) from the Iain M Banks' novel Feersum Endjin, from whom I took the name.
My alt/other main is Antiq. I use this account for fishing and trash collecting.

The Walrus Admin and the Carpenter Devs

`The time has come,' the Admin said,
`To talk of many things:
Of shoes and pants and MP tax
Of shiny pixel things
And why the sea is full of junk
And whether we'll make wings`

`But wait a bit,' the Users cried,
`Before we have our chat;
For some of us are deep in debt,
And we want all of that!'
`No hurry!' said the Admin`
They thanked them much for that.

`A lot of dough,' the Admin said,
`Is what we chiefly need:
Cash and cheques besides
Are very good indeed --
Now if you're ready, Users dear,
We can begin to feed.'

`But not on us!' the Users cried,
Turning a little blue.
`After such kindness, that would be
A dismal thing to do!'
`The night is fine,' the Admin said.
`Do you admire the view?

`It was so kind of you to come!
And you are very nice!'
The Devs said nothing but
`Cut us another slice:
I wish you were not quite so deaf --
We've had to ask you twice!'

`It seems a shame,' the Admin said,
`To play them such a trick,
After we've reeled them in so far,
And made them trot so quick!'
The Devs said nothing but
`The Plot is spread too thick!'

`I weep for you,' the Admin said:
`I deeply sympathize.'
With snorts and laughs they sorted out
Those of the richest size,
Holding their pocket-handkerchiefs
Before their streaming eyes.

`O Users,' said the Admin,
`You've had a pleasant run!
Shall you be logging in again?'
But answer came there none --
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.
